Molbloc/Molbox Flow Measurement System
Mass flow reference standards and measurement terminal for the calibration laboratory.
The molbloc/molbox system is the laboratory's primary reference for mass flow calibrations. A molbox terminal reads pressure and temperature from a connected molbloc flow element and computes the reference mass flow rate from the element's calibration coefficients.
The system comprises three equipment sub-categories:
- Molbox — molbloc terminals housing internal pressure transducers (RPTs), the high-accuracy ohmic measurement circuit, and the computation engine.
- Molbloc-L — laminar flow elements for the range 10 SCCM to 10 SLPM.
- Molbloc-S — sonic nozzle (venturi) elements for the range 25 SLPM to 1000 SLPM.
